Thank you for these amazing days at MamboViewPoint! We were immediately stunned by the beauty of MamboViewPoint. The view, the weather, the food, the hospitality, the hiking, all spectacular!! What an amazing delight to find you at the top of the mountain. We were very happy to stay in one of the most beautiful places of Tanzania.
Unfortunately the UsambaraMountains are not well mapped. However, find here your track to MamboViewPoint!
How to use:
1. download the tracks and waypoints which you
2. unzip the files to Garmin GDB and universal GPX
3. upload them in your GPS and use it!
Route Mombo - MamboViewPoint WestBound
This route takes from Lukozi the Westbound which is most times the best and most direct track.
Route Mombo - MamboViewPoint WestBound GPS
This is the same, only the number of waypoints is reduced to 500 (suitable for most GPS)
Route Lukozi - MamboViewPoint EastBound
This route takes from Lukozi the Eastbound. Sometimes this route is better.
Route Mkomazi-MamboViewPoint 4x4
This is a shortcut if you come from Arusha / Moshi. A 4x4 car is strongly recommended and it's better not to take this route during rains.
